When an organization is built upon friendship, trust and respect – Amazing things are bound to happen. For Sarah Ida Shaw and Eleanor Dorcas Pond, it was against all odds that they formed a sorority of their own as there were already 3 women organizations at Boston University in 1888. Not only did Sarah and Eleanor create the foundation for Tri Delta, they wrote the constitution and created the rituals and symbols. In November 1888. Tri Delta was founded.
